Report of the Workshop on new data model for the Regional Database (WKRDB-MODEL)

The WKRDB-MODEL was held the 15–18 Jan. 2018 and chaired by Henrik Kjems-Nielsen from ICES Secretariat. There was a total of 6 participants from Denmark, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. The WKRDB-MODEL have specified the data model for the new Regional DataBase, RDB, which is called Regional DataBase and Estimation System, RDBES. The data model specify the structure of the data and is needed and used for the development of the RDBES. The data model will be send to all countries in March 2018 for feedback, so countries can have influence on the RDBES, since the RDBES will be the new system for which there will be data calls in the future.
