ICES advises on the basis of the MSYapproach that catches should be no more than 4595 t in 2015 and 4673 t in 2016 for Division Vb and Subareas VI and VII. If discard rates do not change from the average of the last three years (2011–2013),this implies landings of no more than 3952 t in 2015 and 4019 t in 2016.
Following the precautionary approach ICES advises annual catches of no more than 838 tonnes in 2015 and 2016 for Division XIIb. If discard rates do not change this implies annual landings of no more than landings in 2013 (796 t).
