Saithe (Pollachius virens) in subareas 1 and 2 (Northeast Arctic)
<p>ICES advises that when the Norwegian management plan is applied, catches in 2024 should be no more than 223 123 tonnes.</p>
<p>Bycatches of coastal cod and golden redfish (<em>Sebastes norvegicus</em>) in fisheries targeting saithe in subareas 1 and 2 should be kept as low as possible.</p>
