Sixth report of the Bluefin Tuna Working Group - Observations on the size composition of Bluefin Tuna catches from 1973 to 1975

Reference is made to the previous reports of the Bluefin Tuna Working Group (Statistical News Letters, Nos. 20, 26 and 38, and Cooperative Research Reports, No. 23 and No. 40). Following recommendations of the Pelagic Fish (Southern) Committee in 1973, 1974 and 1975, the members of the Bluefin Tuna Working Group continued the collection of data on the development of the bluefin tuna fisheries in the North Atlantic and adjacent seas. The work was carried out by correspondence between members and with other tuna scientists in the region, and it has again been concentrated on the collection of data on the size composition of tuna catches taken in 1973-75.
