Sprat in Subarea VI and Divisions VIIa–c and f–k (Celtic Sea and West of Scotland)

The  new  data  available do  not change  the  perception  of  the  stock;therefore,  the advice  for  this  fishery  in  2015 is  the same  as  the  advice  for 2013  and2014: Based  on  the  ICES  approach  for  data  limited  stocks,  ICES advisesthat catches should be no more than 3500tonnes. Currently there is no TAC for this species in this area, and it is not clear whether there should be one or several management units.
