Stock Identification Database (SID)

This document focuses on the data flow into the Stock Information Database (SID) data tool, which hosts stock information for all stocks to which ICES advice pertains. ICES advice on fishing opportunities is primarily requested by countries bordering the Northeast Atlantic. The assessment outputs shown in SID are produced by ICES expert groups. The governance of SID is the responsibility of ICES Secretariat.
