Tenacibaculum maritimum, causal agent of tenacibaculosis in marine fish

The bacterium Tenacibaculum maritimum displays a lack of strict host specificity and has been reported from wild, cultured, and ornamental fish species in seawater. 

This is a revision of ID Leaflet No. 55 by Y. Santos, Francisco Pazos, and Juan L. Barja, published 1999.
