First Interim Report of the Working Group for Marine Planning and Coastal Zone Management (WGMPCZM)

WGMPCZM met from 7 – 11 April 2014 in Barcelona to discuss progress since the WGMPCZM 2013 meeting and to elaborate on the new set of ToRs. 2014 has been the first year for WGMPCZM under the new scheme of multiannual ToRs. Since the 2013 meeting two specific workshops, which had been scheduled by WGMPCZM, were held and two Cooperative Research Reports, were published (CRR 317 and CRR 320). As well a new version of the serious game MSP Challenge, which has been applied in several ICES contexts in 2011 and 2013 was introduced and tested in March 2014 in Delft. An ICES training course on MSP is under preparation for October 2014 in Copenhagen.
