WGCSE performs stock assessments on the main demersal stocks in Rockall, West of Scotland, Irish Sea, West of Ireland, Western English Channel, Bristol Channel, Celtic Sea and Southwest of Ireland. The group consists of scientific experts from five countries (Belgium, France, Ireland, the Russian Federation and the UK) who meet once a year.
